Collection: OIRA

Designer Yuhi Takahashi started his collection in 2018.
The brand name comes from the Edo dialect word "oretama."

After studying clothing design, he worked at an antiques shop in Kyoto.
At that time, OIRA began by buying old fabrics and sewing them himself to make clothes.

The designs are inspired by various cultures such as movies and art.
Many of his designs and sewing are done by him himself.
In addition to designing clothing, he also creates art pieces.

Their design approach, which completely overturns existing stereotypes, sets them apart from other brands around the world.
It looks like an antique and also like an old Japanese work uniform.

They release clothes that are not mass-produced, with handmade details and old buttons scattered throughout.
