コットンとリネンをブレンドしたスラブ糸を
あえて度目を甘く
ざっくりと編み立てたニットプルオーバー。
素材の持つ自然な表情を
そのまま活かすため
糸の太さが均一ではないスラブ糸を
使用しています。
細い部分と太い部分が混在することで
編み地にはところどころ凹凸が生まれ
機械的に整ったニットにはない
不均一で素朴な表情が現れます。
さらに、編み目を詰めすぎず
糸と糸の間に空間を残した甘い度目に設定。
コットンの柔らかさにリネン特有の
さらっとした乾いた質感が加わり
軽やかな通気性を持ちながら
見た目にはしっかりとした
存在感のある編み地に仕上げています。
リネンは着込むほどに繊維がほぐれ
表面にわずかな毛羽やネップが現れてくる素材。
最初から完成された均質な表情ではなく
着用や洗いを重ねることで少しずつ馴染み
自分の生活に合わせて表情が
変わっていくところも、この素材の面白さです。
糸自体には少し重量感のあるものを選択。
たっぷりと取った身幅と相まって
着たときに生地が身体から
離れて終わるのではなく
重さによって自然に下へ落ちていきます。
その落ち感に、編み地の甘さから
生まれるわずかな「だれ」が加わることで
リラックスしたシルエットの中に
モードなニュアンスをつくっています。
デザインの特徴でもあるネック部分は
左右で開き方の異なるアシンメトリーな仕様。
襟そのものも編み地の特性を
活かしてカールさせ、袖口や裾口にも
同じカールを施しています。
きっちりと形を固定するのではなく
編み地が持つ重さや柔らかさに
よって少し揺らぎながら収まる。
その不完全さが
このニットの輪郭になっています。
シャツのように端正に着るというより
Tシャツやカットソーの延長で
ざっくりと身体に纏う感覚。
パンツの上に一枚で合わせても
裾や袖の自然な動きがスタイリングに
表情をつくってくれます。
素材の不揃いさ、編み目の甘さ
重量による落ち感。
一見するとシンプルなニットですが
整えすぎない素材と設計によって
着る人の身体や動きの中で
