A stance of loving bias
NagaoDaisuke
We are clothing lovers at heart.
I'm more of a collector.
Having something is more important than wearing it
There was a time when I liked it.
Wear different clothes every day.
There are many options
It was a sign of abundance.
But as you get older
Little by little, that feeling has changed.
There are many things
It gradually began to feel like a burden.
I should have owned it
Mornings when you don't know what to wear.
The abundance of choices
It creates "choice fatigue" rather than freedom.
I began to realize this contradiction.
Is that why?
Our current selves
My consciousness is focused on "narrowing down" everything.
This is more than fashion
Maybe it's about a way of life.
For example, there is a wish that you would like to achieve someday.
The shirt is only white.
The pants are only available in navy.
The only denim available is blue used.
The sweatshirt is only available in grey.
The knitwear is only available in black.
The shoes are also only black.
It's biased. In fact, it's quite extreme.
But I thought to myself, "This is all I need."
If we list only the classics that seem
It just happened naturally.
What was once a free choice
The closet
It gets quieter little by little.
Colours, shapes and details
Going towards the bare minimum.
But that's not "patience."
Rather, unnecessary noise
It's the comfort you feel after stripping away everything.
There are things in the world that are "lifetime items"
There is a saying.
But is that really true?
Mass-produced
By the next season, it's "outdated"
Clothes that are destroyed
Can we really entrust our entire lives to it?
I think so.
A lifetime item isn't about the quality of the item,
It's a matter of the person choosing.
Things have a lifespan.
But how to deal with it
It depends on the person.
So we
The phrase "for life"
Do not use on customers
is doing.
Mass production, mass disposal
Tons of choices.
That's the norm
In an era that has come to an end
What clothes do you really need?
To this question
My own quiet answer
I want to release it.
It's okay to be picky or stubborn.
The only regular
I'm sure it will be a helpful hint for someone.
The store is a place
It should be more personal.
Our closets
The space is like an extension of the original.
There is a completely opposite to commercialism.
I want my aesthetic sense and bias to live on.
In this day and age, we dare to "reduce"
Presenting the option:
That is what we are most concerned about right now.
It's an expression I'd like to try.
