A knitwear factory in Gosen, Niigata.
For over 60 years now,
I've been making knitwear.
And now the creators have this in mind.
We wanted to make a knitwear that could be worn for 10 years.
It's not that it won't break, but that even if it does break, it can be fixed.
It's not about being "trendy," but about "fitting in somewhere."
Not just "super stylish," but "something you'll want to wear properly."
This exquisite neutrality may be what makes this knit so appealing.
The design is very simple
A versatile cardigan.
The material is fine merino.
16 gauge high gauge.
This number means "fine quality and delicate
But it's thick enough to wear casually."
It's surprisingly smooth to the touch
