"3pm shirt."
NagaoDaisuke The act of choosing your clothes every morning
There's a bit of a ritual to it.
Rather than sitting in front of the closet thinking
Rather, it's a moment of small reflection before heading out into the city.
Where to go and who to meet.
Weather, temperature, mood.
And the outline of the "someone" you want to be
Try tracing it in your head.
A character from a movie
Someone I met on my travels
The author of the book I read yesterday.
And so the image of myself today emerges.
Layering clothes.
In that way
This morning, I thought of a shirt again.
That shirt I mentioned before.
It's a METHO guy with a quiet presence.

Saturday afternoon, Okazaki Shogoin.
At the counter of the coffee shop Jete
While drinking iced coffee
I flip through the book I'm reading.
At your fingertips as you turn the pages
A soft light suddenly shines through.
In response to this, it shines slightly
Black cotton broadcloth.
It's a METHO shirt.
The dense fabric woven with fine threads
It has a quiet luster and blends gently into the skin.
There is room in the width
Every time you change your position, the air slowly escapes.
The collar is like a sailor's.
It also looks like an Italian color.
It's ambiguous, and that's why it's free.
Beyond the large window facing the street
People in short sleeves are walking around.
Wearing a black model
Contrasting white stitching
Add a subtle edge to the seasonal feel.
The bottoms are charcoal wool slacks.
On my feet, I wear trekking sandals and socks.
A personal dress code for walking around town.
With these constraints
It's also a tradition for me to choose my clothes for the holidays.
METHO's clothes have a lot of space.
It's also a matter of style
It can also be said to be a vessel that accepts the "space" of that person.
Gender, age, and city
It doesn't over-adapt to the seasons either.
That's why you can wear it for a long time. In fact, you'll end up wearing it.
Before turning the next page
Fold one sleeve of your shirt back.
With lighter hands
The flexibility of the fabric on my back suddenly feels comfortable.
This outfit suits a Saturday afternoon like that.
